The book that I am reading is called “Blue Lipstick” it is a book with many poems created to tell a story, this book might be short but I like to say it’s “tiny but mighty”. This book tells a story of a teenage girl that has a few friends, and I guess in her free time she makes poems, mostly about things that annoy her. Which might be why she has many poems about her little brother. Every page in this book is a different poem, including the cover. Don’t let it fool you, the book is not about blue lipstick, that is just the name of the first poem. Which, you can see below.The poems in this book are different and all talk about things that many people can relate to as a teenager, I read some of the pages and it reminds me of what I do sometimes. The poems in this book are unique. Many pages will need you to flip the book upside down or sideways, there is even a poem that she goes and looks in the mirror, and you’ll have to show the book to a mirror to read what it says, which is one of my favorite poems. The more you keep reading every poem the more you see what you you might have not seen last time. So, even though I don’t love reading I am actually enjoying this book, surprisingly.
